This course is intended for any health care provider who, as part of their job description as a professional health care provider, has a duty to respond to a medical emergency. The course covers the assessment and actions required to manage all aspects of the first ten minutes of the resuscitation of a pulseless adult. Participants must successfully complete the Health Care Provider BLS (BLS-C) level of training within 12 months prior to attending an ACLS provider or renewal course. Registration in an ECG & Pharmacology review course (see this section of our website) is recommended for participants who may feel their knowledge base in these areas is not strong enough.
